The gag in BDSM practice is a device for depriving the subordinate partner of the ability to make loud sounds and pronounce articulate words. In BDSM, a gag is used to humiliate. In role-playing games, gags are used for control (for example, in pony play ). Special gags are used for oral sex games (mouth spacers) .
Most often used ball gags ( English ball-gag ), which are a rubber or plastic ball, placed in the mouth of a partner and fixed with a belt or tape. Widely used in bondage practice. A large number appear in graphic works on the subject of BDSM.
Specialized gags can also include inflatable gags and masks with a built-in gag. In role-playing games in a child, a gag pacifier is used.
Also gagged can be items of underwear or clothing of the legs (stockings, tights, socks, underpants).
