Biography
Born November 12, 1976 in Cetinj in Montenegro, Yugoslavia. He spent his childhood in Sveti Stefan in the community of Budva , where his family lived. He completed primary and secondary school in Budva. In 1995-1996 he served in Sombor and Uzice [1] .
In 2002, he entered as a novice at the Tvrdosh Monastery , where in 2003 he received monasticism with the name Dimitri named in honor of the great martyr Dimitri Solunsky [1] .
In 2004, at the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist in Orovec-Trebin, he was ordained to the rank of Hierodeacon [1] .
January 19, 2005, on the day of the Epiphany, was ordained hieromonk in the Transfiguration Church of the city of Trebinje [1] .
In 2012, he graduated from the theological faculty of St. Basil of Ostrog and Tvrdoshko at Foche [1] .
In 2015, he was appointed rector of the Duji Monastery [1] .
On May 9, 2018, by a decision of the Council of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, he was elected bishop of Zakhumsk-Herzegovina [1] .
May 21 of the same year was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite [1] .
On September 23 of the same year, in the church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Trebin, his episcopal ordination took place, which was performed by the Patriarch of Serbia, Irenaeus, Metropolitan of Montenegro-Primorsky Amphilochius (Radovic) , Metropolitan of Dabrobosan Chrysostomos (Yevich) , Bishop of Mileshevskiy Afanasy Bishop (Rakita) Ioanniky (Michovich) , Bishop of Frankfurt and the German All Gregory (Durich) , Bishop of Raska and Prizren Theodosius (Shibalich) , Bishop of Western America Maxim (Vasiljevic) , Bishop Slavonski John (Chulibrk) , Bishop of Bihac -Petrovachsky Sergy (Karanovich) , Bishop Timochsky Hilarion (Golubovic) , Bishop misfire-polish and Baranja Cherub (Dzhermanovich) , Bishop Mohachsky Hesychius (Rogich) , Bishop Diokleia Mefody (Ostojić) and staying at rest former Bishop Zahumsko-H, and Seaside Afanasii (Yevtich) [2] .
