Ezermalas street ( Latvian. Ezermalas iela - Priozernaya [1] ) - a street in the Northern district of Riga , in the Chiekurkalns and Mežaparks microdistricts. It runs in the north-west and north direction, from Viskalu street to Meža avenue . The total length of the street is 2826 meters [2] .

It is covered with asphalt throughout. Two-way street traffic. Bus route No. 9 runs along the entire street, and bus No. 48 [3] from the intersection with Kishezer street to the end of the street.
The part of Ezermalas street related to иiekurkalns (from the beginning of the street to the intersection with Kishezer street ) is planned to be included in the first stage of the planned [4] .
Content
History
The street was laid in 1902 , originally called Vaza street ( Latvian. Vazās iela , German. Wasastraße ) [5] - in honor of the dynasty of the Swedish kings who owned Riga from 1621 to 1654. Initially, the street ran from Plettenberg (today Kishezer street ) to Samson street (today Annas Sakses street ); in the 1920s it was extended to Mezh Avenue . It got its modern name in 1923; there were no other renaming of the street [6] .

Before World War I, Ezermalas Street 2 was a jute factory , and from 1953 until the early 1990s, the Riga Higher Military Aviation Engineering School [1] .
