Born in the family of a doctor of medicine, Reuben Moiseevich Kulisher . He studied at the 2nd Kiev gymnasium, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Imperial University of St. Petersburg. In 1905, 1910 and 1913 was on an internship in Europe - Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, where he studied teaching methods in schools. He taught physics and mathematics. Author of publications and articles in mathematics. The author of translations of works of European mathematicians from English, German and Italian. He was published in the Proceedings of the 1st All-Russian Congress of Teachers of Mathematics (St. Petersburg, 1911-13), in School and Life, Speech, Picturesque Review, Kiev Thought and others. Ch. The Literary Fund and the Cash Desk are mutual assistance of writers and scientists. The author of several works in the genre of fiction .

After the October Revolution, he was a professor at the universities of Petrograd: the second Petrograd Pedagogical Institute. N.A. Nekrasov, Pedvuse at the State University, Pedagogical Institute of Social Education, Pedagogical Academy (Pedagogical Institute named after A.I. Herzen). Since 1923 he worked at Leningrad State University, where in 1929 he became a professor. One of the organizers of the "Society of Material Mathematicians at the Leningrad Branch of the Communist Academy" (1928), who fought with the "apolitical Gunther group." In 1937, A. R. Kulisher was expelled from the CPSU (b) “for dulling class vigilance” and sent to the city of Kirov, where he worked at KSPI named after Lenin as a professor in the department of algebra and geometry until 1944 [1]
