Biography

In 1940 he graduated from the History Department of the 2nd Moscow State University with a degree in the history of social thought in Russia [1] [2] [3] [4] .

In 1940 - 1946 he served in the Soviet Army , a veteran of World War II [1] [2] [3] [4] .

In 1949 he graduated from the graduate school of the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov in the Department of the History of Russian Philosophy, and in 1950 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences on the topic “The rout of Lenin and Stalin on the ideology and tactics of anarchism in Russia ” [3] [four]

Since 1949 he worked at the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, having gone from a senior teacher to an assistant professor and professor. In 1971 - 1992 - professor and head of the department of history of Marxist-Leninist philosophy, in 1991 - 2014 - professor of the department of history of Russian philosophy. In 1978 - 1986 he was dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov [1] [2] [3] [4] .

In 1955 - 1957 - professor of philosophy and adviser to the rector of Shanghai University [1] [2] [3] [4] .

In 1963 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on the theme “The development of historical materialism by Marx , Engels , Lenin in the struggle against the sociological and philosophical concepts of anarchism ” [3] [4] [5] .

In 1966 - 1976 - Chairman of the Philosophy Section of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Higher Education of the USSR [4] .

In 1973 - 1990 - chief editor of the journal “ Bulletin of Moscow University . Series "Scientific Communism" ". In 1978 - 1990, he was the chief editor of the journal Vestnik of Moscow University . Series "Philosophy" ". He was also a member of the editorial board of the journal Philosophical Sciences [1] [2] [4] .

In 1975 - 1991 - member of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR [4] .

Scientific activity

The main areas of research of A. D. Kosichev were modern anarchism and Marxism , philosophical ideas of L. N. Tolstoy , various trends within Marxism ( E. Bernstein , A. Gramsci , K. Kautsky , V.I. Lenin , D. Lukach , G. V. Plekhanov , anthropological Marxism , neo-Marxism , “ Praxis ”) and their comparison with the views of K. Marx and F. Engels themselves, the origins of the connections of revolution and evolution , the search for patterns of world social development [1] [2] .

I believed that the Marxists had a firm desire for econonomic determinism , an elevation to the absolute objective side of the historical process , which in fact turned into voluntarism and subjectivity . He considered the processes of revolution and evolution and revolution as being in inextricable unity [1] [2] .

The author of more than 200 scientific papers, including 15 monographs (in Russian, Spanish and Chinese), various textbooks and brochures. He prepared more than 70 candidates of sciences, as well as 12 doctors of sciences [1] [2] .
