Biography

He was born in 1900 in the village of Karatorgay (according to other sources in the village of Aulsovet [2] ) of the Beshkarogai volost of the Semipalatinsk region of the Russian Empire.

He graduated from a two-level Russian-Kazakh school in 1914. He worked as a clerk at a postal station in the village of Glukhovka in the Semipalatinsk Region, then as a time attendant in a wool wash in Semipalatinsk.

In 1918, he was drafted into the Russian Imperial Army , served as clerk and captain of the cavalry regiment of Alash-Horde, and fought on the Semirechensky front.

After the October Revolution he joined the Red Army , was a participant in the Civil War in Russia . In 1920 he became a member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU , in 1920-1921 he served as secretary of the cavalry regiment and brigade, then he was a military commissar of the 3rd Kyrgyz cavalry regiment. [3]

Since 1921 he worked in Orenburg , and then in Semipalatinsk , where he was deputy head of the propaganda department of the Glavpolitprosvet of the People’s Commissariat of the Kazakh SSR, head of the provincial police, head of the administrative department of the provincial executive committee, head of the Semipalatinsk provincial land administration. Was the editor of the newspaper "қазақ тілі". Then he worked as chairman of the Pavlodar district executive committee, head of the Central Administrative Administration (TSAU) and at the same time was a member of the board of the NKVD of the Kazakh SSR. Later he worked as the head of the Akmola provincial land administration and Akmola governor. [3]

From 1929 to 1932, Moldazhanov worked as chairman of the Guryev District Executive Committee, was a member of the Settlement Committee under the Alma-Ata District Executive Committee, and was chairman of the Chelkar District Executive Committee and the Aktobe District Executive Committee.

Since 1932, Ilyas Moldazhanov was the chairman of the Alma-Ata Regional Executive Committee (1932-1935), then - the People's Commissar of Finance of the Kazakh SSR (1935-1937). He was a member of the Kazakh Central Executive Committee and the Kazakh Regional Committee of the CPSU (b). [3]

On July 29, 1937 he was arrested by the 4th Division of the State Security Directorate of the UNKVD in the Alma-Ata region. March 13, 1938 on charges of art. 58-2, 58-7, 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and sentenced by the Military College of the Supreme Court of the USSR to capital punishment. The Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR was rehabilitated on July 30, 1959 for lack of corpus delicti. [3]
