Biography
In 1890, after graduating from the Temir-Khan-Shurinsky Real School, he entered the service. In 1891, after completing the officer courses at the Kiev Military School, he was promoted to second lieutenant and issued to the 251st St. George Reserve Battalion, later appointed to be part of the 5th combat engineer battalion. In 1895 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1900 to the staff captains , in 1903 to captains , company commander.
Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War . In 1910 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel , headquarters officer of the 21st combat engineer battalion. Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , since 1915, Colonel , commander of the 43rd Engineer Battalion. By the highest order of April 11, 1915, he was awarded the St. George Arms for courage [1] :
