Rugby career
He played in Sharks Club in Super Rugby and Curry Cup in 2010–2016, and has been playing for Newcastle Falcons in the English Championships since the 2016/2017 season [1] . In the first season, he spent only 7 matches for the “falcons”; in the season 2017/2018, thanks to an outstanding performance in the Premier League of England, he got into the national team - he set a record number of turners and captured more defenders than any other hooker, and also brought 4 attempts to 16 matches [1] . He also has 5 games for the South African U-20 team.
