Reschmann, Dorothea

Since childhood, she sang in the Flavsburg Bach Choir. She began to study music in 1979 , studied in Hamburg , Bremen , Los Angeles , New York , London . She debuted as Suzanne in the opera The Marriage of Figaro ( Salzburg , 1995 , conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt ). Then she successfully performed in the same role in Munich ( 1996 and 1998 ).

Permanent participant in the festivals of ancient music in Innsbruck , Handel festivals in Gottingen and Halle For five years she performed in the troupe of the German State Opera in Berlin . She sang in operas by A. Caldara , A. Scarlatti , Mozart , Cimaroza , KM Weber , Beethoven , Bizet , Wagner , Puccini , Stravinsky . She has performed solo concerts in New York, Chicago , Vienna , Stuttgart , Hamburg, Leipzig , Dresden , Cologne , Utrecht , Brussels , Ravenna , London, Haifa . Her performances by Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Teleman Orpheus, Messiah and German Arias by Handel, songs by Schumann , Schubert and others are known and recorded.

She worked with such conductors as Nicolaus Harnoncourt , Daniel Barenboim , John Eliot Gardiner , Rende Jakobs , Claudio Abbado , Sir Neville Marriner , Charles Mackerras , Ton Copman , Philip Herrewegwe , Sigiswald Keiken , Fabio Bjohndi, and I, I, I, and I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I would work with such conductors as Nicoleus Arnoncourt , Claudio Abbado , Sir Neville Marriner , Charles Mackerras , Ton Copman , Philip Herreweg , Sigizwald , Y. Bostridge , Christina Schaefer , Vivika Genot , Anna Netrebko , Bo Scovhus , David Daniels , etc.
