Group History
The history of the group can be divided into three time periods - 1984 - 1987 , 1988 - 1990 and 1991 - 2002 .
1984 - 1987: Italo Disco
At the root of the project stood Aldo Martinelli, at the request of Mauro Farina, who, together with Simone Zanini, wrote the first single, “Chance To Desire” [2] . Due to the fact that Martinelli participated in many other projects, his name was not indicated on the cover. But Farina acted differently. Because of this, Martinelli withdrew from further writing, and Farina continued to work on the following songs.
The following division of responsibilities in the project gradually formed: solo parts were performed by Mauro Farina, women’s vocals were performed by Simona Zanini, later replaced by Klara Moroni. Most of the songs were written by Farina and Giuliano Krivellent, and produced by Paolo Jemma and Marco Bresciani.
After "Desire" (released as a single and maxi-single on the labels "Out Records" and "Discomagic") in 1986 and 1987 there is a series of records that became widely known, the first of which were "Hey Hey" and "Vampires". In the wake of success, Farina and Krivellent make a decision to record an album, which was called “Desires and Vampires” and was released in 1986. Both the maxi-single and the album were recorded for Out Records, but the subsequent successes of Yeti and Aliens (both in 1986) appeared under the label Discomagic, which was also the company responsible for distributing all their products. .
The second album did not take long to appear - it gets the name “The 2nd album” and appears in 1987, being the first mention of the new label Radiorama Records, on which until 1993 (when Mauro Farina creates “21st Century Records”) will be created all new compositions. Also in 1987, it is licensed in some countries, including Austria, Spain, Switzerland.
In the same year, Radiorama performed at a festival in Sopot during a major Italo Disco concert, together with such performers as Milk and Coffee , Gazebo , Ken Laszlo and Savage .
1988-1990: Eurobeat
New works under the brand Radiorama continue to regularly appear on the music market, but without the vocal performance of the classic line of Farina-Zanini. These compositions are more consistent with the style close to the eurobit.
During this period, the group releases three more albums - “The Legend”, “Four Years After” and “The Fifth” - and takes a short creative break.
1991–2002: Eurodance
In 1993, there is a big comeback: Mauro Farina writes the single "Aliens 2: The Nightmare", which became a hit. Following this, Farina founds the label 21st Century Records.
The following tracks did not contribute to great success. The official vocalist in the 90s was Angelo Morales, but it is possible that he was just a dancer, and the male vocals still belonged to Mauro Farina. In 1998 and 1999, the songs “Give Me The Night”, “Beautiful Man”, “Ninna Ninna Oh”, “More Time” were released with the participation of the French project TX Express with the collaboration of Farin with the label Ramdam Factory. TX Express consisted of rapper, model and dancer Ramses and Fow, the female face of the group. At the same time, some sources claimed that during these times Annerly Gordon and Melody Castellari could be singers.
About the album "The World Of Radiorama" it is known that Jackie Bodyimid, Ricky Stezz, Fabio Serra and, probably, others sang.
