Biography
Fedor Grigoryevich Fadeev was born on June 26, 1926 in the village of Novaya Poltavka, Poltava district, Chelyabinsk region. Later, together with his parents, he moved to the Karakalpak station of the Tashkent Railway .
In 1942, after completing 7 classes of a secondary school, he entered the Karaganda railway school and, having successfully completed it in 1943, was hired as an assistant engineer in the locomotive depot in Karaganda .
In 1944 he was sent to the Brest-Litovsk railway. In 1945 he graduated from the courses of steam engine drivers in Baranavichy and began working as a steam engine driver at the Brest Locomotive Depot.
Fyodor Grigorievich Fadeev for the first time on the Brest-Kovel section began to drive freight trains weighing 25 thousand tons, and later - in 2800 and 3000 tons. At that time, engine drivers drove trains weighing 1,500 tons. Later, the weight of freight trains driven by Fedor Grigoryevich reached 4.5 thousand tons.

For the successes achieved in the development of railway transport, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 1, 1959, Fadeev Fyodor Grigorievich was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle . "
