Biography
Born during the deportation of Chechens in Sulukt ( Batken region , Kyrgyz SSR ). After the restoration of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR, the family returned to their homeland. In 1960 he graduated from high school. In 1969 he entered the Dagestan Art College named after A. A. Dzhemal. In 1970-1972 he served in the army. After completing the service, he resumed his studies at the Dagestan school, which he graduated in 1975. After graduation, he worked at the Ministry of Trade of Chechen-Ingushetia, then taught painting at the Grozny Pedagogical School. In 1976-1979 he taught at the Grozny Children's Art School, and since 1979 - the director of this school. In 1983, he attended advanced training courses at the Central Institute for Advanced Studies of leading and creative workers of the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR . In 2003, he created the regional public institution "Art Serlo" with Sunday clubs in a number of villages in Chechnya to help children with post-traumatic disorders.
