Content
History
The Score became famous in early 2015 after Walmart's Asda UK supermarket chain used their track “Oh My Love” in a major advertising campaign called “Save Money, Live Better”. According to Asda, one of the reasons they chose the song was because they were nameless and unknown [1] . Placing the song in commercials helped The Score rise in the public eye, and in July 2015, " Oh My Love " reached number 43 on the UK Singles Chart. In the same year, the song became the most popular among other songs from search ads on the Shazam service [2] . The song also appeared in the 2015 film Alvin and the Chipmunks: A Grand Chipmunk Adventure . Following the success of "Oh My Love," The Score signed a contract with Republic Records , which operates as a division of the Universal Music Group . In September 2015, the mini album "Where Do You Run" was released. The song from this EP, "On and On," was featured in the spring programming line for Home Box Office, Inc.
2016: Unstoppable EP
On September 23, 2016, The Score officially released the new mini-album "Unstoppable EP" . The title track has become one of the soundtracks for the 2017 Power Rangers movie . In 2018, this song was used in advertising campaigns for the Jeep Grand Cherokee , and was also used in various competitions.
2017–2018: Myths & Legends , Atlas
On April 14, 2017, The Score released a new mini-album called "Myths & Legends", which included the new songs " Miracle ", " Higher ", " Revolution " and " Legend ".
On September 8, they released the song " Never Going Back " as a single from their debut full-length album, Atlas , released on October 13. Songs like " Shakedown ", " Who I Am ", " Strange ", " Only One ", " Believe" and " Tightrope " have also been released as part of this album. Legend was featured on the NHL 18 soundtrack.
On June 29, 2018, The Score released the single " Glory ".
On September 7, 2018, The Score released their new single, " Stronger ." According to their Twitter account, the song marks a new era for the band. The official music video for the song was released on YouTube on October 4, 2018 [3] . As of June 19, 2019, nearly 29 million people watched it.
On October 26, 2018, The Score released another new single, entitled " The Fear ."
The song " Highe r" also appeared in Series 22 of Season 2 of the Riverdale television series.
2019: Pressure EP, Stay EP
On January 29, 2019, The Score announced that an EP titled "Pressure" will be released on February 1, which will include the songs "Under The Pressure", "Born For This" and "Dreamin", as well as previously released songs "The Fear", "Glory" and "Stronger" [4] .
On May 24, 2019, The Score will release their new single, " Stay ."
On August 9, 2019, The Score will release the Stay EP mini-album, which includes six new songs - Rush, Hunger, Run Like A Rebel, In My Bones, Can't Stop Me Now " , as well as the well-known single" Stay ".
