It was isolated in 1963 by specialists of the antibiotic chemistry department of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR [2] [3] .
Pharmacological effects
Does not affect gram-negative bacteria, but acts on gram - positive - Listeria spp. , Staphylococcus spp. (including Streptococcus pneumoniae ), Enterococcus spp. , Corynebacterium diphtheriae et al. Of many anaerobic microorganisms and acid-resistant bacteria [4] .
Application
Septic diseases associated with gram-positive bacteria, especially staphylococci, resistant to other antibiotics: hematogenous osteomyelitis , staphylococcal, streptococcal and pneumococcal sepsis , purulent meningitis , septic endocarditis and other severe coccal infections [5] that cannot be treated with other drugs.
Side effects
