History
Founded in 1726. In 1928, the village of Lugovaya consisted of 114 farms, the main population being Russians. As part of the Ilyinsky Village Council of the Kiprinsky District of the Kamensky District of the Siberian Territory [4] .
The mass migration of peasants to the Altai fell on the years 1882-1896. After the Stolypin agrarian reform , the second wave of migrants passed, which lasted from 1903 to 1913. As a result of these migratory inflows, the villages of Ilyinka and Lugovaya grew to 151 households that came from the central and northern provinces of Russia [5] [6] .
The 2017 Calendar of Significant Dates of the Altai State Pedagogical University speaks about the centenary of the village of Lugovoe [7] .
The book about the history of the village of Ilyinka refers to the formation of the Kiprinsk MTS and production sites in the villages of Ilyinka and Lugovaya. In Lugovoy in 1931, the “New Way” section was opened from the Kiprinsk MTS [8] .

Food and retail goods are sold by the Shelabolikhinsky District Consumer Society, which also conducts procurement and processing activities [11] . The post office is located in the village of Ilyinka, where schoolchildren go to Ilyinskaya Secondary School [12] .
