Mahir Ilgar oglu Amiraslanov ( azerb. Mahir İlqar oğlu Əmiraslanov ; born May 12, 1997 ) is an Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler, bronze medalist of the European Championship in 2019 , the champion of the European Games in 2019 , the world champion among juniors in 2015.

Biography
He was born in 1997 in the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the city of Gazakh [1] . He began to fight at the age of 8 [1] back in Gazakh under the guidance of Honored Sports Worker Ramiz Tagiyev [2] . Since 2005, he has been professionally engaged in wrestling under the leadership of Askerkhan Novruzov, his second coach [2] .
Winner of many European championships among youth and juniors. World Champion 2015 among juniors in the weight category up to 55 kg.
In 2015, he took part in the World Cup , where he took the twentieth place in the weight category up to 57 kg.
In 2016, in the weight category up to 57 kg, he became the fifth at the European Championships .
In 2019, at the European Championships in Bucharest , an Azerbaijani athlete in the fight for third place defeated the Serbian athlete Sebastian Kolompara and won a bronze medal [3] . In the same year, Mahir became the winner of the European Games in Minsk , having defeated the current world champion Zaur Uguyev from Russia in the semifinals, and in the final - the Seb wrestler Stevan Michich .
