Interesting Facts

  • The cellars of the factory, which today, in particular, houses a museum, used to be connected to the catacombs . Before the revolution, enterprising residents of Moldavanka penetrated through underground workings, plundering the alcoholic wealth of the plant. Now the catacombs under the plant are sculpted, as well as the lower tier of the cellars. All that remains is the elevator shaft leading down, and visitors throw coins at it - “to return” [3] .
