Biography

In 1892, after graduating from the Uman School of Agriculture and Gardening, he entered the service. In 1894, after graduating from the Nikolaev Cavalry School, he was promoted to guard cornet and released to the Dragoon Life Guards Regiment . In 1898 he was promoted to lieutenant guard, in 1902 to the staff captains of the guard. In 1906, after graduating from the Officer Cavalry School, he was promoted to captain of the guard.

Since 1913, the platoon commander of the half-squadron of the Nikolaev Military Academy . Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , seconded to the Dragoon Life Guards Regiment. In 1915 he was promoted to colonel with the appointment of the 16th Dragoon Regiment as the head officer of the Tver .

The highest order of November 10, 1914 for courage awarded the St. George weapons [1] :

 He was assigned to the Life Guards Cavalry, a platoon officer of the half-squadron at the Imperial Nikolaev Military Academy, to the Life Guards Dragoon Regiment, Alexander Bendersky, because on August 25, 1914 he made his way through the enemy’s sentry position, being then delivered to his area, from there valuable information about the enemy
