Geography
The village is located near Lake Kishkino on the edge of the vast left-bank floodplain of the Ob (the distance to the river is 14 km). There are no paved roads.

History
It was founded in 1922. In 1928, the village of Sokmarino consisted of 100 households, the main population being Russians. As part of the Kiprinsky Village Council of the Kiprinsky District of the Kamensky District of the Siberian Territory [6] .
In July 1931, the Kiprinsky MTS was formed, and its branches were located in neighboring villages. The second production site covered various collective farms, including the Pamyat Kolyado collective farm in the village of Sakmarino [7] .
