Biography
Born in 1922 in the village of Johvi. Member of the CPSU.
Member of the Great Patriotic War. sniper of the 921st rifle regiment of the 249th Estonian rifle division. Since 1948 - on economic, social and political work. In 1948 - 1980 - collective farmer, agronomist, chairman of the Kuusalu collective farm in the Harju district of the Estonian SSR.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 27, 1976, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 7th and 8th convocations
He died in Harju County in 1992.
