Biography
Born in 1903 in the city of Kirzhach . After graduating from high school (1920), he entered the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute , which he graduated in 1929. Subsequently, he worked as an assistant in the course of dams at the Faculty of Water Management of the LPI , in the management of Svirstroi and in the construction of the Nizhne-Svirskaya Hydroelectric Power Station , since 1942 he was the head of the section of special bureau No. 2 of the Gidromontazh trust, the chief engineer of the Svirstroy trust for restoration of the Volkhovskaya Hydroelectric Power Station , since 1944 the head Svirstroy trust for restoration of the Nizhne-Svirskaya hydroelectric power station. Since 1949, the chief engineer of the construction department of the Narva hydroelectric station ( Ivangorod city). since 1955 the chief engineer of the construction department of the Kaunas hydroelectric station , since 1961 the chief engineer of the construction department of the Plyavinsk hydroelectric station .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 4, 1966, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal.
Subsequently, he worked at the USSR Ministry of Energy. He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the Latvian SSR. Winner of the Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR (1972).
Since 1978, retired.
He died in Moscow in 1995.
