Biography
In 1968 he graduated from the Abramtsevo Art and Industry College named after Vasnetsov with a degree in Artistic Processing of Wood, Stone and Bone. After graduation, he returned to Grozny , where he began to work in the art and production workshops of the RSFSR Art Fund as a monumental artist. In 1973 he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In the same year he was awarded the Order of Honor for the revival of folk crafts. In 1982 he was awarded the gold medal of the world exhibition fair in Leipzig . In the same year he was awarded the title of Honored Worker of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, and in 1990 - the title of People's Artist of the Republic. He participated in many regional, all-Union and international exhibitions. During the years of the first Chechen war , almost all of his works were lost, both stored in the National Museum of Chechnya and in his personal workshop. He was buried at the family cemetery in the village of Aldy .
