Jean d'Albre ( fr. Jean d'Albret, sire d'Orval ; d. May 10, 1524 in Langres ) - sir d'Orval, Baron de Lesparre, Senor de Chatemeilan, Count of Rethel (from 1491 for the rights of his wife), Count Dreux is a French feudal lord and statesman, governor of Champagne and Bree.

Born 1460/1463. The son of Arno Amagnieu d'Albre, sira d'Orval (d. 1463), and his wife Isabella de La Tour d'Overgne (d. 1488). Grandson of Charles II d'Albre .
In 1486 (April 15) he married Charlotte of Burgundy (1472-1500), Countess of Rethel from 1491.
Royal lieutenant in Champagne from February 17, 1487. Appointed Governor of Champagne, Brie, Sansa and Langra February 20, 1488. He held this post until his death.
Married to Charlotte of Burgundy , 3 daughters were born:
- Mary (1491-1549), Countess Rethel (1500-1525)
- Elena (1495-1519)
- Charlotte, Lady D'Ile, from 1525 Countess Retelle, wife of Ode de Foix .
Also, Jean d'Albre had two illegitimate children:
- Jacques d'Albray , Bishop of Nevers
- Francoise Abbess in Charenton.
