It was opened in 1976 as a school with the team of masters "Zenith" at the LOMO trade union committee. Until November 2017, it was called GOU DOD SDYUSSHOR football "Zenith". In 1994, it was opened under the St. Petersburg Committee for Physical Culture and Sport.
One of the two strongest football schools in St. Petersburg along with the Academy of FC Zenit , [1] [2] [3] is one of the strongest schools in Russia. [four]
The school Zenit is annually among the top three strongest football schools in Russia. In 1998, all three teams that took part in the championship, championship and the Cup of Russia, took first place (1981, 1983, 1984 year of birth).
