Maiznitsas Street ( Latvian: Maiznīcas iela - translated as Pekarnaya ) - a street in the Central District of Riga . Connects the streets of Miera and Charlottes ; does not intersect with other streets.

The total length of the street is 159 meters [1] . It has asphalt throughout. Two-way street traffic. Public transport does not run along the street.
History
It was first mentioned in the list of Riga streets in 1808 [2] as Bleichpfortenstrasse (with German - “ Belilny Gate ” street , Latvian. Blieķu Vārtu iela ), because it was located in the area of the demolished Belilny (Bleikyu) gate of the former palisade fortifications [3] (see also Aristide Briand Street ).
Since 1861, the official name of the street becomes Pekarnaya ( German: Bäckereistrasse , Latvian. Beķerejas iela ), and since 1921 it has taken the current Latvian form. Subsequently, the name of the street did not change [4] .
