Duan Jingli ( Chinese р 静 莉 , pinyin : Duàn Jīnglĭ ; born , ) is a Chinese rower who played for the Chinese rowing team from 2010-2017. Bronze medalist of the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , winner of two bronze medals of the World Championships, champion of the Asian Games in Incheon , participant of many regattas of national and international importance.

Biography
Duan Jingli was born on March 8, 1989 in Yanshi County, Luoyang City District, Henan Province.
As a child, she played volleyball quite successfully, was a member of the Chinese women's volleyball team , but in 2003, on the advice of her parents, she moved to rowing.
In 2010, she entered the main team of the Chinese national rowing team, made her debut in the World Cup and performed at the world championships in Karapiro , where in the standings of doubles she was able to qualify only for the consolation final B and was located in the final protocol of the competitions on the eighth line.
At the 2011 World Championships in Bled, she took eighth place in doubles.
In 2014, she single-handedly won silver and bronze medals at the stages of the World Cup in Egbelet and Sydney, respectively, in the same discipline she received bronze at the world championships in Amsterdam . In addition, she won in the Deuces at the Asian Games in Incheon .
In 2015, she became a bronze medalist in singles at the world championship in Egbilet .
Thanks to a series of successful performances, she was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . In the women's doubles program in the decisive final race, she finished third behind Australian Kim Brennan and American Genevra Stone , thereby winning a bronze Olympic medal [1] .
After the Olympics, Duan for some time remained in the Chinese rowing team and continued to take part in major international regattas. So, in 2017, alone, she won a bronze medal at the World Cup in Poznan and performed at the World Championships in Sarasota, where she was far from being among the winners.
