TIGA

TIGA graphics card with TMS34020

TIGA ( Texas Instruments Graphics Architecture ) is a graphics card and graphical interface standard.

In general, the TIGA GUI standard is independent of resolution and color depth, which provides a definite future perspective. This standard was originally developed for high-quality graphics. However, TIGA was not widely used; instead, VESA and Super VGA became the de facto standard for graphic devices in personal computers .

The Texas Instrument TMS34010 and TMS34020 GPUs were original TIGA compatible GPUs. [1] [2]
