Kia Stinger is a Gran Turismo- class sports liftback manufactured by Kia Motors . The first prototype called the Kia GT [1] was introduced in 2011 in Frankfurt. Three years later, the Kia GT4 Stinger concept is shown at the Detroit Auto Show . The premiere of the production model developed by Peter Schraer and Gregory Guillaume took place there in 2017.

In Russia, the car is mass-produced at the AUTOTOR plant [2] with a two-liter petrol turbo engine of the Theta II family with direct fuel injection and a V6 engine of the Lambda 3.3 T-GDI family with direct fuel injection and double turbocharging. Transmission - automatic 8-speed. Drive - rear or full. In the South Korean market, the car is also available with a 2.2-liter V4 diesel engine.
