History

It was first mentioned in the “Census Wage Book of the Vodskaya Pyatina” in 1500, as the village of Sirokazka in the Yegoryevsky Terebozhsky Pogost [2] .

At the beginning of the XVI century, the village of Sirokazka belonged to the princes Myshetsky [3] .

Then the village of Sirokaska is mentioned in the Patrol Book of the Vodskaya Pyatina of the Korel half of 1612 [4] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, it is indicated as the village of Syracasca [5] .

SIROKASKA - the village belongs to Captain Krutov, 9th class. Sakharov and action. stat. owls Korzhevsky, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 59 m. P., 61 g. p. (1838) [6]

In 1852, the lands in Sirokassk , as well as in the villages of Anyutino and Gorodishche, together with the wastelands Podil (now the village of Podillia ) and Voipala, were bought by Prince P. A. Urusov (1807–1889) from A. I. Krutov [7] .

SIRACASKI - a village of different owners, on a country road, the number of yards - 21, the number of souls - 67 m. (1856) [8]


SIROKASKA - the owner's village near the Tyashev River, the number of yards - 25, the number of inhabitants: 83 m. P.; Orthodox chapel. (1862) [9]

In 1867, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from A. A. Ilyin and became land owners [10] .

In 1864-1868, temporarily liable peasants bought their land allotments from EI Zubareva [11] .

In 1868, peasants bought the plots from A. F. Zubarev [12] .

A compilation of the Central Statistical Committee described the village as follows:

SARAKASKI - the village former owned by the Saracas River, 10 yards, 48 ​​residents; chapel, shop. (1885) [13] .

In the 19th century, the village administratively belonged to the Shumsky volost of the 1st camp of the Novoladozh district of the St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the 20th century - of the 4th camp.

From 1917 to 1919, the village of Sirokasska was part of the Sirokassky village council of the Shumsky volost of Novoladozh district.

Since 1920, as part of the Vasilkovsky village council of the Volkhov district .

Since August 1927, as part of the Mginsky district [14] .

According to 1933, the village was called Sirokasska and was part of the Vasilkovsky village council of the Mginsky district [15] .

In 1958, the population of the village of Sirokasska was 161 people.

Since 1960, as part of the Volkhov district .

Since 1961, as part of the Putilov Village Council [14] .

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Sirokaska was also subordinate to the Putilovsky village council of the Volkhov district [16] [17] .

According to 1990, the village of Sirokasska was administratively subordinate to the Nazievsky village council of the Kirovsky district [18] .

In 1997, 23 people lived in the village of Sirokasska, Nazievsky Council, in 2002 - 73 people (Russians - 93%) [19] [20] .

In 2007, in the village of Sirokasska, Nazievsky state enterprise - 55 people [21] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-239 ( Vojpala - Gornaya Shaldikha ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 8 km [21] .

1 km south of the village is the railway line Mga - Volkhovstroy I and the stopping platform Plitnyaki [22] .

The village is located on the banks of one of the branches of the Tyashchevka river.
