Delicias ( Spanish: Delicias ) is a municipality in Mexico , Chihuahua with an administrative center in the city of the same name . The population according to the 2010 census was 137,935 people.

General information
Name Delicias with the Spanish language can be translated as the beauty, joy, pleasure, and it was borrowed from a former hacienda , located in the neighboring municipality of Rosales [3] .
The area of the municipality is 533 square kilometers, that is 0.22% of the total state [4] , and the highest point - 1280 meters, is located in the settlement La Prieta [1] .
It is bordered by other municipalities in the state of Chihuahua in the north with MEOKAM and Julimes Municipality , the east and south with Sausilo , and to the west with Rosales .

According to statistics from 2000, the working population is employed by sectors of the economy in the following proportions: agriculture, livestock and fishing - 27.9%, industry and construction - 42.6%, services and tourism - 27.2%, etc. - 2.3% [4] .
