Leont (from Athens) (or Leoy) - The character of ancient Greek mythology . Athenian hero. The son of Orpheus [1] . When famine broke out in Athens, according to the divine prophecy, Leocor sacrificed his three daughters [2] . His daughters, Praxisheus, Theopus and Eubulus, were prophesied according to the prophecy of the Delphic oracle [3] for the sake of the fatherland.
