Yungipicus (lat.) - a genus of birds from the woodpecker family [1] . Distributed in Asia . Until 2015, the species included in this genus were included in the genus of spotted woodpeckers ( Dendrocopos ) [2] . A number of taxonomic research systematic ornithologists continue to do so today.
