The Artisan's House ( Belor. House of the Rameshna ), also known as the House on the Market ( Belor. House on the Market ), is a monument of Baroque architecture in the city of Nesvizh of the Minsk Region of Belarus , a sample of a stone residential building from the beginning of the 18th century . Located at: st. Chapaeva, 4/2 [1] [2] . Included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus [3] .

History
The building was erected in 1721 on the historic Market Square of the city. Despite the well-established name, it is not known for certain who was the owner of the house. It is believed that this was a merchant or craftsman due to the fact that only a wealthy person could build such housing [4] . On the first floor there were warehouses and shops, on the second - living rooms. In the 19th century, a room was added from the courtyard side [1] [2] . From December 1992 to 2015 in the reconstructed artisan house there was a children's district library [5] .
Architecture
Two-storey rectangular building with a basement . The ground floor is stone, the second is from wooden structures. Initially he was part of the Market Square building ensemble. The main face façade goes out to the line of building the street and is solved by a single figured baroque gable that covers a narrower floor with a gable roof, with rectangular window openings located symmetrically with the central axis. In the center of the facade is the main entrance, above which is a balcony with an openwork metal cast fence. A small arched opening and two small niches at the end of the facade gable are trimmed with stucco and decorative platbands. The shape contour of the gable is underlined by a thin profiled cornice . The entrance to the second floor is from the courtyard facade [1] [2] .
