Aphidant (Aphid, Dr. Greek Ἀφείδας ) is a character in ancient Greek mythology . King of Athens in the period after the Trojan War (according to the chronicle of Eusebius, in 1135–1134 BC). He received a dictum from the Dodonian Zeus about the forthcoming campaign of the Lacedaemonians (see Codr ) [1] . The founder of the Afidantides . Killed by his side younger brother Fimet , who reigned [2] .
