Biography
Born 07/27/1935 in the village. Hooking of the Lukoyanovsky district of the Gorky region. He graduated from the Moscow Veterinary Academy (1958).
- 1958-1967 senior, chief veterinarian of Babstovsky, Birobidzhan, October state farms, inter-district (regional) agricultural department of the Jewish Autonomous Region;
- 1967-1972 senior veterinarian, state veterinary inspector of the Rostov Regional Department of Agriculture;
- 1972-1982 Director of the Rostov Regional Veterinary Laboratory.
- 1982-1993 director N.-i. Veterinary Institute of the Non-Chernozem Zone of the Russian Federation (NIVI NZ RF), at the same time Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Epizootology and Microbiology of the Nizhny Novgorod Agricultural Institute.
- 1993-2000 Head of the Department of Epizootology and Microbiology of the Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy, at the same time the head of the laboratory for the study of brucellosis, the main research associate of the NIVI NZ RF.
Developed a methodology for assessing the epizootic situation for brucellosis. Created a scientifically based system of anti-brucellosis measures adopted in all regions of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries.
With his participation, new drugs were developed: glucogemovit, furacycline, sulfatetrine, furazole, biosin, novosulgin, neosulfazole.
Doctor of Veterinary Sciences (1989), professor (1991), corresponding member of RAAS (1990), corresponding member of RAS (2014).
Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1995), Honored Veterinarian of the Russian Federation (1989). He was awarded 14 gold and 1 silver medals of VDNH and All-Russian Exhibition Center, a gold medal to them. K. I. Scriabin.
