Biography

He entered the service in 1885, in 1886, after graduating from the Konstantinovsky military school, he was promoted to second lieutenant . In 1890 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1895 to the staff captains , in 1900 to the captains .

Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War , in 1905, lieutenant colonel , commander of the 3rd battery of the 6th East Siberian Artillery Brigade. For military distinctions in this war he was awarded the Orders of St. Stanislav of the 2nd degree with swords, St. Anna of the 2nd degree with swords and St. Vladimir of the 4th degree with swords and bow.

Since 1907, the commander of the 6th battery of the 27th artillery brigade. Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , Colonel - commander of the 2nd Division of the 27th Artillery Brigade. May 16, 1915 was captured with the encirclement of the 20th Army Corps in the August forests.

By the highest order of June 10, 1915, he was awarded the St. George Arms for Bravery [1] :
