History

In 1859, in the Biryuchensky district - “on the right side of the large postal route from Biryuch to Ostrogozhsk”, “at Matrenovskaya beam”, 30 versts from the county town there was a large “owner's farm Alekseyenkov” - 122 yards, 963 residents ( 512 males and 451 females).

It is mentioned in the Memorial Book of the Voronezh Province for 1887 as the "settlement of Aleksѣenkov" Matrenogesevsky volost Biryuchensky district. The number of residents of both sexes is 1093, the number of yards is 134.
