2024 Ice Hockey World Championship - The 88th ice hockey world championship will be held in the spring of 2024 in the Czech cities of Prague and Ostrava . This was announced at the IIHF Congress on May 24, 2019, held in Bratislava [1] .

The Czech national team on the rights of the host country, as well as the national teams and which will take the first two places in the tournament of the first division of the World Cup 2023, guaranteed their participation in the championship. Another 13 teams qualify for the tournament following the results of the World Cup-2023 .
