The village is located in the foothill region, the climate is sharply continental. Weather is formed as a result of frequent changes in air masses. The average temperature in the summer is + 26-28 ° С, can reach + 40-41 ° С degrees, in winter the temperature can drop to minus 50-55 ° С, the average temperature is -20-24 ° С. In the summer, the north wind often blows [5] .
History
The history of the village is inextricably linked with the history of the formation of the country under the name of the Soviet Union . After the death of V.I. Lenin , the new economic policy was curtailed. The authorities announced the creation of collective farms and the beginning of industrialization. This time was a period of creation and enlargement of villages. The names of the time reflect the historical era. After 1926, the villages of Gorny Partizan, Pobeda, and United Labor were formed in the Altai Territory [6] . During the collective-state farm construction, the Proletarsky collective farm was created, and on its territory there was a central estate - Proletarka [7] .

Infrastructure
A proletarian basic comprehensive school works in the village, there is a shop, a village club, and a FAP [10] [11] .
Transport
The old Chuyskaya highway runs from the city of Biysk in the Altai region, passes through the villages of Sovetskoye , Altai , Saras and Proletarka, connecting them with neighboring cities and villages [12] .
Attractions
22 km southeast of the village is located one of the deepest caves in Russia - Kok-Tash cave (Ecological). Its depth is 350 meters, the passages are 2300 meters long, and the total area is 4400 m 2 . It is considered the most beautiful cave in the Altai Territory, since it has a large number of calcite leak formations.
Directly on the northern outskirts of the village of Proletarka is the Proletarskaya Cave (formerly Sarasinskaya). It is located among the spurs of the Seminsky ridge at an altitude of 70 meters above sea level. The total length of the cave is 60 meters. Various archaeological finds were discovered in it, as well as petrified bones of animals of the Cambrian period [13] , so the cave is a complex natural monument [14] .
