National Digital Library of India

The National Digital Library of India (NDLI ) is an online electronic library created by the Ministry of Human Resources Development of India . The library combines several national and international electronic libraries within a single web portal . The library provides free access to many publications in English and Indian, including Urdu and Persian .

The library has been operating in experimental mode since 2016, and since 2018 its portal has been in commercial operation. At the beginning of 2019, it includes over 21 million information materials, including 150 thousand publications in English.

The Indian Institute of Technology ( Haragpur ) is responsible for the functioning of the library.
