Shorty - Green Pants

The little man was tired of sitting at home all day and decided to go traveling, but his grandfather did not let him go, claiming that he was still small. He must sit at home and guard his old age. However, Shorty escapes and travels a humming song about his grandfather along the way. On the way, he meets a frog that invites him to try airy ice cream and Shorty agrees. After that, he tries to cross the rainbow, but slides and the frog again offers him to try another airy ice cream. After trying air popsicles and trying to cross the rainbow again, he still falls back. The frog again offers him to try another airy ice cream. At first, Shorty wanted to refuse, but then changed his mind and tried again. After the third time, the frog was switched by the movement of the rainbow and now Shorty could cross it to another island. However, Shorty chose to swim underwater across the river. On the way, they were attacked by a pike, but Shorty easily dealt with it, intimidating her and they swam further with the frog. Having reached the next island, the frog calls Shorty the Brave, gives him a kiss and returns home on a rainbow.

Shorty goes further and meets a lion on the road, which blew soap bubbles and one of which he accidentally burst. The lion is angry at first, then sees a new soap bubble that approaches the eyes of the lion and bursts, causing the lion to cry and run away. Going further Shorty meets a cowardly hare, but he himself is frightened. Night falls and Shorty in fright decides to run back. On the way, he meets his grandfather and realizes that it was he who watched him all day and helped him. It was he who saved him from the pike when he challenged him and it was he who blew the very soap bubble that made the lion cry. A Firebird appears and invites them to sit on their back, as it will help them return home. Grandfather first asks the Firebird to take only him and leave his grandson, since he sang rude songs about him throughout the trip and was frightened of the ordinary and defenseless hare. Shorty apologizes for all this and promises that this will not happen again. Grandfather forgives his grandson and the Firebird returns them home.
