Biography

Otozhihon Shobdonova was born on March 2, 1945 in the Aravan district of Osh region . A young, talented singer at the age of 17 is credited with the artist of musical drama of the Osh Uzbek musical and drama theater named after S. M. Kirov .

Aitazhi Shabdanova with her pleasant voice and excellent performance of roles won great authority and fame among the audience. In 1976 she graduated from the Ostrovsky Tashkent Theater and Art Institute and received the specialty of drama and film actress. Shabdanova O. is one of the leading theater actresses. The images she created are diverse in their scenic embodiment. She played the main roles in the performances “Mother Field” - Tolgonai, “Scorpio from the Altar” - Rano, “Sohibjamol” - Sohibjamol, “Medea” - Medea, “Tahir and Zukhra” - Zuhra, “Semetei” - Kanykey, “Semurg” - Mother, “Sohibkiron” - Bibihonym, “Kurmanzhan Datka” - Kurmanzhan Datka. ^[1] Many art lovers highly appreciate Oytozhi Shabdanova as a singer. She perfectly performs songs in Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Tajik, Tatar, Peridic languages, the song she performed in Kyrgyz language “Tumarym” on Uzbek television brought her even more fame. She participated in a tour of the theater in the city of Leningrad in 1984 . She was elected to the Osh City Council of five convocations. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1971, she was awarded the medal "For Labor Distinction" , the medal "Dunk." In 1968 , 1969 , 1971, she was awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic. In 1974, she was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1988, for the great contribution and contribution to the development of theatrical art of the republic, she received the title People's Artist of the Kyrgyz SSR .
