History
In 1859, in the Biryuchensky district, "the owner's farm Osmakov (Volchki) at the Volchki ravine" "on the right side of the large postal route from Biryuch to Ostrogozhsk" - 110 households, 805 residents (399 men, 406 women).
It is mentioned in the Memorial Book of the Voronezh Province for 1887 as the "settlement of Osmakov (Volchka)" of the Lutsenko volost of the Biryuchensky district. The number of residents of both sexes is 806, the number of yards is 123.
