Biography
In 1910, Tikhon the First was born in the village of Glukhovka . Labor activity in 1929 in the new collective farm "Khleborob", where in 1933 he was elected as a foreman of a field brigade.
During the war years he worked at one of the defense enterprises of the Urals.
In 1945 he returned to his native places to restore the destroyed economy. He began working as a foreman of a field crop brigade of the Telman collective farm named after the Aleksevsky district of the Voronezh region (from 1954 in the Belgorod region) [1] . In 1947, his team received a high yield of wheat - 36.2 centners per hectare on an area of 17.25 hectares.
By decree of May 7, 1948, for achieving high production results in agriculture, Tikhon the First was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
In 1955, due to health reasons, he stopped working as a foreman. He went to work at the apiary, and then the storekeeper on the collective farm.
Repeatedly elected district worker deputy.
He died on March 2, 1979 .
