Sandra Sumang Pierantozzi [1] ( born Sandra Sumang Pierantozzi ; born August 9, 1953 in Koror ) - Palau politician, vice president of the country in 2001-2005.

Biography
Sandra Pierantozzi was born in Palau in 1953. She graduated from California State University in San Diego with a degree in teacher leadership . He also has a bachelor's degree in business education from the University of Hawaii , as well as an associate 's degree in Union College in the state of Nebraska , USA [2] .
Over the years, has been an active social political and public position. She held a number of high posts, including the head of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Committee on State Lands [2] . In 1996, she was elected to the Senate of Palau . In 2001, she became vice president under President Thomas Remengesau [3] . In parallel, she served as Minister of Health. In 2009-2010 - Minister of State Affairs.
Later she was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Pacific Development Bank, then a member of the Micronesia Conservation Organization; founded the Palau Conservation Society [2] .
