Andrei Nicolaeta Bogian ( rum. Andreea Nicoleta Boghian ; born , ) is a Romanian rower who played for the Romanian rowing team from 2007-2016. Bronze medalist of the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , winner of the silver medal of the World Cup, five-time European champion, winner and medalist of many regattas of national importance.

Biography
Andrei Bogian was born on November 29, 1991 in the city of Gura Humorului , Romania . She began to engage in rowing in 2004, she was trained in the city of Orshova in the local rowing club Trayan Lalescu.
She made her rowing debut in the international arena in the 2007 season, performing in doubles at the junior world championships in Beijing. A year later, in oar wheelless deuces, she became a silver medalist at the Junior World Championships in Linz. A year later, at similar competitions in Brive-la-Gaillarde was in the same discipline the best. In 2009, she entered the main team of the Romanian national team and visited the European Championship in Brest , from where she brought the bronze dignity award won in the doubles standings.
In 2011, she won the Eights at the European Championship in Plovdiv , while at the World Championship in Bled she finished fourth in the same discipline.
At the 2012 European Championships in Varese , she was again the best in the eights.
In 2013, at the European Championships in Seville, she twice went up to the top step of the podium: she won the steering wheelless decks and steering eights. At the same time, she won silver at the World Championships in Chunju , letting the crew from the United States forward.
At the 2014 European Championships in Belgrade, in the finals, the eights beat all her rivals and won gold, thus becoming the five-time European rowing champion. At the world championship in Amsterdam, she was close to the prize positions, showing the fourth result at the finish.
In 2015, she won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Poznan in eights, while at the World Championships in Egbelet she managed to qualify only for the consolation final B and was located in the final protocol of the competitions on the seventh line.
At the 2016 European Championships in Brandenburg, she finished in the eights of the fourth. Thanks to a series of successful performances, she was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Summer Olympics - as part of the crew, which also included rowers Roxana Kojanu , Joan Strungaru , Laura Oprea , Michaela Petrile , Madeline Beres , Adeline Bogush , Juliana Popa and steering Daniela Druncha , in the decisive final race of eights came to the finish third behind the teams from the USA and Great Britain - thereby won the bronze Olympic medal.
