Content

History

It was first mentioned in the scribe books of the Shelonsky Pyatina of 1498, as the village of Danilovo (the village of Danilova near the Danilovsky swamp, north of Lake Samro) in the Sumerian graveyard of Novgorod district [2] .

The village of Danilova is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [3] .

DANILOVO - the village belongs to Messrs. Tairov, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 61 m. p. [4] (1838)


DANILOVA - the village of Madame Oldecon, on a country road, the number of yards - 20, the number of souls - 57 m. [5] (1856)

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Lozhgolovskaya volost of the 2nd zemsky district of the 1st camp of the Gdovsky district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province in 1905, the village formed the Danilov Rural Society [6] .

Since March 1917, the village was part of the Lozhgolovskaya volost of the Gdovsk district [7] .

According to the map of the Petrograd and Estland provinces of the 1919 edition, the village was called Danilova [8] .

Since March 1922, as part of the Ovsishchensky Village Council of Kingisepp County .

Since August 1927, as part of the Osminsky district .

Since November 1928, as part of the Lososkino Village Council. In 1928, the population of the village was 165 people [7] .

According to 1933, the village of Danilovo was part of the Lososkinsky village council of the Osminsky district [9] .

From August 1, 1941 to January 31, 1944, the German occupation.

Since 1961, as part of the Slantsy district.

Since 1963, as part of Kingisepp district [7] .

As of August 1, 1965, the village of Danilovo was part of the Lozhgolovsky village council of Kingisepp district [10] . Since November 1965, again as part of the Slantsevsky district. In 1965, the population of the village was 20 people [7] .

According to 1973, the village of Danilovo was part of the Lozhgolovsky village council [11] .

According to 1990, the village of Danilovo was part of the Staropolsky village council [12] .

In 1997, 3 people lived in the village of Danilovo in the Staropolsky volost, in 2002 - 10 people (Russians - 90%) [13] [14] .

In 2007 and 2010, 3 people again lived in the village of Danilovo, Staropolsky SP [15] [16] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-161 ( Likovskoye - Danilovo - Ovsishche ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 14 km [15] .

The distance to the nearest Weimarn railway station is 44 km [10] .

To the west of the village is Danilovskoe swamp.
