As a result of the competition, a representative of the city of Shymkent, Zhazira Nurimbetova, was chosen. According to advertising photographer Danil Oleinik, “three people from the jury voted for her” ^[16] and “the jury looked at each other, surprised. One even said that he was ashamed to be there. " ^[17]

It was also noted that the winner was on the list of outsiders of the contest and did not distinguish herself during the photo shoot, which was conducted by Danil Oleinik. ^[17]

Among the spectators of the beauty contest was a former deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan , Bakhyt Syzdykova , ^[17] who wrote on her personal page on the social network Twitter that "the title was completely purchased." ^{[18] [16]}

Almost two months after the beauty contest, the winner of the contest responded to the critic’s criticism that public figures should be objective and careful in their statements, and also emphasized that they insulted not only her, but also many residents of Shymkent. ^[nineteen]

A participant from Karaganda, Anna Chudaeva, recalls that when the winner was announced “the whole hall froze” and then “a maximum of five people” slammed. And as to whether the contest was bought, she does not know. According to her, “she [the winner] is a very modest girl. When we gathered together with all the participants, laughed, she always sat on the side quietly and silently. No one saw or heard her. And she also didn’t show herself at rehearsals. ” ^[sixteen]
