Biography
Youth
Born into a Jewish family from Amsterdam. His parents - Herman Brilleman and Violetta Bordelli - had three children, among whom Andre was the youngest. He graduated from Van Bosseschool. In childhood, he had the nickname Pipo. From a young age he practiced football, judo and karate. Over time, Brilleman goes into kickboxing, where he gradually gets acquainted with the underworld of Amsterdam [7] .
Sports career
Andre is a pupil of the famous Amsterdam club Medzhiro Jim. He became one of the first champions of the famous hall. Brilleman fought around the world - from Holland and France - to the United States. He defeated such legends as Howard Jackson and Kate Nathan. [8] Andre's trainer was Jan Plas , one of the greatest kickboxing experts in Holland [9] . Brilleman was not considered a technical fighter, but was distinguished from others by the strength of his character. Favorite punches in his arsenal were lowkies [10] [11] . In sport, he reached the highest level - became the world champion [1] .
Criminal career
Andre worked for Holland's chief drug lord Klaus Bruinsmu. His coach, Jan Plas, was also the bodyguard of crime bosses. According to one version, Klaus instructed Andre and Karl Marianovich to deal with his rival, Hugo Ferol. But the performers warned the victim and staged an attempt. They presented the customer with a photo of the body drenched in ketchup. Hugo thanked his saviors with a sum of 150,000 guilders. Bruinsma revealed fraud and punished his subordinates. Maryanovich was killed almost immediately, and Andre worked for some time as a criminal boss, unaware of the impending threat. Later he was caught, his legs were cut off still alive with a chainsaw and poured cement in barrels. According to another version, the stolen consignment of hash became the cause of the murder. Andre felt that Bruinsma no longer needed his services, and this pushed him to such a desperate act. The tragic story became the basis for the plot of the film "De dominee" [6] [7] .
