Rikama [1] ( Arabic: الرقاما ) is a small town in western Syria located in the Homs governorate. It is part of the Homs district. It is the center of the same name Nakhi.

Geographical position
The city is located in the western part of the governorate, on the western outskirts of the Syrian desert , at an altitude of 805 meters above sea level [2] .
Rikama is located approximately 21 kilometers (in a straight line) southeast of Homs , the provincial capital, and 121 kilometers northeast of Damascus , the country's capital.
Population
According to the official census of 2004, the population of the city was 3900 people (2001 men and 1899 women). There were 698 households [3] . In the confessional composition of the population, the Alawites prevail [4] .

The nearest civilian airport is Basil Al-Assad International Airport [2] .
